perpetualglow, 4 controllers, if you count the GC.

There is the Wiimote, the WiiNunchuck (requires the Wiimote), the WiiClassic and the GC controller.

FireAza, Nintendo games are the same price as they have always been here in the states, $50 US.

Something I just happen to think of. How the hell do I transfer my saved game from my GC memmory card to the Wii SD Card?

Yeah, which is why it annoys me to no end when Americans complain and whine about 3rd party Xbox 360 games being $60. Try paying $100, and don't give me any of that exchange rate BS, it just doesn't add up! But the point is, we've paid that much for games for so long, so why are 3rd party Wii games suddenly $109? Oh and about the GC mem cards, the Wii supports them, there's no need to transfer the saves to an SD card.

$100 AUD is about $75 USD.

Damn that sucks FireAza (even with the exchange rate).

perpetualglow, not all games make you use the nunchuck and the wiimote at the same time. It is much more comfortable then a single controller also you have about the same amount of buttons. Its so easy my daughter that is almost 3 is using it.

+2! For $600 I can get the MIG I want, and that will keep me happy far longer than a console will.

Because the PS2 has a reputation for not being able to play PSone games after awhile. Or at least mine does. Then again I still own the large version.

The one I have (a very old, very large version... I want to say it was an initial release, but it wasn't mine originally) has a problem with a single PS1 game. But, uh, that's it. It plays the other PS1 game I have with no issues. So it's probably the game itself and not the console.

jimkatai obviously needs to stop mistaking tuna sandwiches for PS1 games!

My PS2 stopped playing some PS1 games, then I opened it up and played with the laser eye height and everything plays fine.

P.S. I have had to open mine up and clean it out once but other than that mine has played everything without missing a beat.

I have owned 3 PS2s and all of them have done this, although only one went completely caput. The other two just would screw up every now and then. And to be clear, it was having problems with CDs more specifically, just said PSone since all PSone discs are CDs

My PS2 plays PS1 games fine, but it refuses to play DVD's, and it won't play anything unless it is in the upright position.

You laser eye is probably set too high. If you know anything about building computers (or other electronics), it's a pretty simple fix. Just pop open the case and take of the plate on top of the disc drive. There is a little white, plastic gear; just spin that to move the laser eye up or down.

I want a Wii as soon as I can get one. However the PS3 seems to be easier to get, at least for me. I swear I have the oddest timing when it comes to that system, I go to Best Buy early looking to see if they have Wiis, they's setting up a display of probably 30+ PS3s right next to me...no Wiis in stock. Go to Circuit City today (yep, I survived shopping Black Friday :P) and they have 6 PS3s in stock. I thought it was supposed to be rare or something...
