Just so you know, it's not a good idea to create a whole load of new threads in the wrong section. I fear you came to this forum through google thinking it was a forum about real life, not "RealLife Comics" by Greg Dean. Just a little pointer, as some forumites my get a tad irate.

in case you were looking for a real answer, it's my husband that is the boss in our household (although some times i am convinced that his daughter is the one in charge here [not my kid]).

and in case you were looking for a real answer for the reason: it's because that was what i was looking for in a man, i wanted a man who could take charge and who could stand up for himself. i dated enough guys who just gave in and quite frankly it's boring.

But, of course the women like it when they fake some sort of power. I think this is what spikegirl might be referring to. I frequently ran into this problem when I lived with my girlfriend.
