December 11th, 2006 - Sleeping in Class

Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

Yes, the webcomic forum must stay true to the homies in the ghetto. For shame! We have not, in fact, kept it real! For shame!

... Come on, are you serious?

I don't know what hurts my head more- the fact that he's actually saying this sort of thing to Greg and Liz or that he's actually saying it "sold out."

Insulting them is bigger BS than anything else I've seen on this forum.

It's true, a giant, numbered corporation came and paid not only Greg and Liz, but the entire moderator staff to change the titles of comic threads. The whole "Easy to find the thread you want, while not spoiling it" thing is really just a cover up.

I'm posting this from outer space. I get paid a lot for this gig.

Some people here don't even read the comics, but I still have no idea what's up this guy's butt.

When Greg IM's me with the reason why then I'll tell him... but mostly because his assumption of a certain radio station that wanted to break away from his control and he freaked out... not that it matters because that radio station GAVE ME THE SACK!

I think RL become Corporate... and i hate corporate.

Oh heavybass, give it up. No one cares about the radio station any more, and certainly no one cares about you. You come in here, acting like we should bow to you because you work for the station that half of us have probably never heard of, and instead of being nice AT ALL, the first thing you do is start slamming things. You have no right to come in here and bitch about the way things are done...none. You only frequent the forums when you have a bug up your ass and need a place to get it out. Demanding things of Greg, bitching Liz out, slamming other people...how dare you? I have very intentionally left you alone, stayed out of all arguments you may have had with other people - until now. You had no cause for this - none. Back off, go away, go back to your station, leave us alone. Oh wait...the station doesn't even want you anymore... huh. Wonder why that is? Could it be because you're a total asshat?

Heavybass, apply for the refund. You know, a refund of the money you paid Greg and Liz to read the comic. Just fill out Refund Form RF-7A and submit it to the Real Life Corporate Headquarters, Finance Department.

Heh, I was wondering for the longest time if RL Radio was actually associated with Greg, and then I thought, "No, not possible. Greg wouldn't support a douche bag like heavybass." Apparently, I was right....

It is, but it isn't. I think it was, at one point, but split (for whatever reason) and became it's own thing with the same name.

Right... I don't give half a crap about the station itself, but I reserve the right to use that name. When I stopped running the station, it had no right to continue using the name "Real Life Radio". As I recall, it was changed to RLRadio - and that's fine.

For the full details, I'll have to get my director of trademark protection in here. What with me being so corporate and all.

Jesus. The things that run through peoples' minds. (By the way, HB - didn't you tell me you were going to be taking an absence? When's that start, again?)

Erm, can I stick my hand up and say I had no idea?

And though I'm barely on here, I read every comic. I cried way back when the RSS went down. =P

There was an RSS feed!? Damn it, and that would have been so useful too. VGCats and Reallife are the only webcomics i don't have RSS on.

VG Cats should have a feed. If they don't hey have a livejournal feed for sure.

I thought this comic still had one though.
