Musical instruments

Post by Xyphic » Sun Feb 16, 2003 11:39 pm

I posted this in the old forums while this one was down, so I'll post it here now this one is back:

What musical instruments do you play/own?

I play guitar and piano; I have a Yamaha DXG-500 "Portable Grand" keyboard that's so large they should be fined for false advertising calling it portable. It's got a full-size keyboard and sounds good though! I also have a cheap Les Paul copy made by Westfield.

I 'can' play an accordian; it's in my closet. Yet, I've forgotten most of it. I'll prolly pick it up again someday. Nothing is radder than playing "Sweet Dreams" on an accordian.

I play alto and bari sax, bass, and nose flute.

All I currently own is a fender bass and a nose flute.

If I ever get some cash together I have my eye on a really nice bari sax. I just need the 3 grand to be able to afford it... oh, and another couple hundred so I can cover rent this month.
I care for Apple Jacks a great deal. Pathetisad

Well this is a mighty fine group. I suggest that we form a band.

We had a ska band back in the day.

oh yeah, French Horn (long time ago), trumpet, piano. First few bars of cripple creek on the banjo (so's I can tune it and give it back ti my dad).
Accordian (failed Lawrence Welk therapy, also courtesy of my dad). Mine is in the closet too, Schiffi!

Darn straight. Piano, trumpet, the milk bottle, the wine glass, and voice. I wonder if Pink panther could go with Cantate domino and that ska you guys be talking about...
