Re: December 19th, 2006 - school finished
I had pretty much the same reaction when I turned in my 81 page Bachelor of Science in Public Relations thesis this semester. Took three days for me to realize that I never had to go to class again, just to my internship!
A Ventrue: What the hell are you doing with that plunger?
A Tremere (Me): I believe, esteemed sir, that he is attempting to get the stick out of your ass.
At least Greg doesn't have to *pay* for the externship...
Congrats Greg!
I'll be out of school myself in..... 5 years... lol
Actually.... he does. The externship is part of the curriculum, credits earned and all. Which means that if you divide the tuition across the number of credits, he IS paying quite a bit to work for free.
However, with no prior experience, the externship is essential.
Way to Go!! Sorry you didn't get to cook in final feast. I realized to late that your last day cooking was the next day and couldn't swing over for the buffet! (had planned it, but was in LA)
And since I 'loose' people in most of my posts. Final feast = last day of the winter term. The school will be closed for weeks, almost anything perishable will be dead (and the school gets a deep cleaning during the break so more would spoil even if it could survive the time). So the students get to make anything they want.
