I do NOT have to explain my distaste for Neil Diamond if nobody's going to explain why I should like the guy, but fine.

-A drunken baseball crowd sings "Sweet Caroline" about as well as he does.

-"I am I said:" Chairs can't hear. Ask Dave Barry. And this might be the worst song ever written (at least if you hear the world through my ears it is).

-I have a low tolerance for schmaltz.
