He's asking for bands. Read the initial post. Stay on topic. Sheesh, I thought you were studying law or something?

Anyways, I'm setting my vote in for Queen as well, but also nomination Jimi Hendrix.
Yo Mav, I'm real happy for you and Imma let you finish but Hirschoff had the best sig trends of all time.

I love both Queen and Billy Joel, but if it comes down to the two of them, I would go for Joel.
Also, second on Hendrix. I'm surprised it took this long to mention him.

On the subject, who can disagree with Flogging Molly?

RUINED IT?? He, along with the likes of Warren Haynes, ELEVATED otherwise mediocre Beatles songs to greatness! Fie on you, sir!

Too many, unfortunately. I love them, myself.
Seir, Ayumi Hamasaki was the band part. Just listed two songs you should listen to, if you are unfamiliar with her.

And in law, everything is up to interpretion.

Since there are good and bad songs from nearly every artist, let´s throw in some song titles, kay?

My favorites: accoustic orchestra version of "seasons" and "moments" by Ayumi Hamasaki.
No, you just posted songs you recommended you didn't recommend the artist. You can like a song without being a fan of the artist.

This wasn't about law, I was talking about your ability to read what the OP wanted and to stay on topic.

Here's an update. I'm going to keep up the eliminated list for safety's sake. Plus, I made some commentary on eliminations I am making now.

To be rejected:

Queen
James Taylor
Billy Joel
David Bowie
Chuck Berry
Tom Petty
Aerosmith
ELO
The Eagles
Dire Straits
Allman Brothers Band
Jackson Browne
Ray Charles
U2
Pixies
Ben Folds/Five
Morris Day and The (Motherfucking) Time
Boston
Cheap Trick
Bon Jovi
Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass
The Funk Brothers
Ayumi Hamasaki
Flogging Molly (This one is close to elimination, but I'm split, and if it's something that both Fuggle and Deacon can agree on then I won't be the one to jettison it.)

The Departed:

Johnny Cash
Bruce Springsteen
Pearl Jam
Alice in Chains
Led Zeppelin
The Cure
Joe Cocker
and I'm now saying no to the following
Aqua
They Might Be Giants
Spin Doctors
Fastball
Blind Melon
Yes
Chicago
Bob Dylan
Arethra Franklin
Pink Floyd
Don McLean
Journey
Frank Sinatra
Louis Armstrong
Bob Marley (I cannot do reggae)
Elton John
John Coltrane
Bryan Adams
The Avalanches (I can listen to a song or two at maximum.)
Elvis
The Mars Volta
Blue October (just... no)
Foreigner (I'm being cold as ice and throwing them out. Sorry, Jez.)
CCR (can a band have a larger discography? it's like a 1:5 ratio of good to bleh)
Sublime (AHHH)
Jimi Hendrix
REO Speedwagon (hate me all you want, they're not consistent and the 80's ruined them)
Elvis Costello (I'm not in like with him)

Foreigner (I'm being cold as ice and throwing them out. Sorry, Jez.)
Obviously, you need some instructions, because you don't know how to rock.
