Since the other thread is getting so long, we've created this thread to put all of the travel details in one central location. I will update the first post as people provide their details.

Assistance with transportation is provided out of the generosity of the person driving. DO NOT SIMPLY EXPECT THAT TRANSPORT WILL BE AVAILABLE, OR YOU MAY FIND YOURSELF TAKING AN EXPENSIVE CAB/SHUTTLE RIDE. DO NOT BOOK TRAVEL WITHOUT KNOWING HOW YOU WILL GET TO THE HOUSE.

For ease of reading, PLEASE stick to this particular format and provide as many details as possible. If you don't have exact info, please post a range of times that are available to you, whether you can arrive by car, bus, plane, etc, and anything that will be helpful for those of us trying to get things settled. Keep in mind that there will already be 4 cars at the house. We have a limit of about 6 cars at any given time.

Transportation I will be willing to provide: We will have 1-2 spots open on the way TO the airport FROM the house on Sunday, April 29th.

Transportation I need: (this is just an example) I will be arriving on (date) by (bus/plane/monkey) and I can arrive between x time and y time. I can/can't rent a car.

Please try to as flexible as possible when making travel plans. If you will be riding with someone, please also keep in mind that they may request/require money in exchange for that to help pay for the cost of the rental and/or gas.

I am probably renting a car and arriving a little later on the 21st (Around 4:30 PM)
Gowerly ins't confirmed, but I will hold a spot open for him. BigK25 is confirmed, and will be riding with me, that leaves probably 1 spot left, possibly 2. It would help us later arrivals greatly if someone else decided to arrive at this time to help pay for the car rental.

Only catch is, I will be returning the car on the 26th or 27th, and that might leave people short of seats at the end of the trip! Perhaps we will rent it in someone else's name who will be there the entire time, but I'll need a ride back if we do that on the 26th or 27th to the airport.

I havn't bought any tickets yet, but this looks like the best way to accomidate both BigK25 and Gowerlypuff (If he decides he can make it, which I hope he does), as well as myself for the trip back.

Just to be curious, is there a particular reason why you are arriving at 5:25? Have you purchased your tickets yet? If you can be flexible in your timing that would make it easier to also pick up any other people. I know you say that is the earliest time, but if you're not trying to depart at a particular time I bet I could find an earlier flight.

It was the earliest time for that day i will be leaving SA at 10:20.

So you don't *have* to leave at that time, you just couldn't find anything better? Would you be okay with leaving at 8am or 6am? Also, why are you flying out on Monday? I found many flights arriving before 5p.m. Have you bought your tickets yet?

Craptacular. The 1:55pm arrival time must have filled up. The only arrival I'm seeing is like 7:20. Still offering monies if someone can pick me up.

The ORF airport is actually pretty small and nice. There are some good restaurants and plenty of places to sleep for awhile. (I know, I did so last year.)

Also, I found plane tickets going to Newport News for about $200 roundtrip. Newport News is a little farther than ORF, but not by much.

So I guess depending on the best chance I'll have to get a ride, I'm going to go ahead and order my tickets. Most of the flights get there at 10:30am anyways, so I'll probably be waiting around for a while before anyone leaves anyways.

I'm just unsure as to who's car is full and who's isn't...
