"I think all right-thinking people in this country are sick and tired of being told that ordinary decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I'm certainly not, and I'm sick and tired of being told that I am."

Ya know. I think we need to make a rule that you can't post Onion articles on here until it is the funniest thing you have ever read. This is just meh.

Not only that but it is also about baseball, which is boring.

Actually, if you followed baseball news, you'd know how funny this is. People in Boston are driving to the Sox spring training facility and standing hundreds of people deep JUST to watch this guy throw. I mean, yeah, he's a good pitcher, but coke fiends don't gather like this when a drug lord advertises "Free Line Day".

Yeah, but I don't follow baseball news, and neither does anyone outside the US basically... or a lot of people in the US.... and so it's boring, not funny.

"Ultimate Galactic Dragon Gyroball Pitch Power Explosion," eh?

That sounds great and all, but can it compare to the Tezuka Special?

So your saying Sox fans are dumber than coke fiends?

Pretty much, yes. :P

Well, lets put it this way. Would you root for a team that spent $51 MILLION just for the right to NEGOTIATE with a guy to maybe potentially sign him to a contract?

I would.

In fact, I do root for that team. And if you're going to make fun, you should know we're borderline psychotic when it comes to baseball. Tread carefully.

I mean, we're crazy enough to believe in the Demon Sphere. Besides. That 51 million will keep the Seibu Lions in business. (And as for the Onion article, it'd be funny if it weren't so close to the truth.)

Forget about the money - the fact that they're obsessed with a team that goes 86 YEARS between World series wins?

Not only are they crazy, but they're masochists!
