USPS = SUCK

Post by Dreamer » Thu Mar 29, 2007 7:03 pm

I mean. Come on. Seriously. Is there a more useless tracking information page tha tthe one provided by USPS!?!?! They absolutely SUCK!!! What's the point?

It says "electronic Shipping Info Received" which basically means they got the package. Then it says NOTHING, apparently, until it's delivered.

Then it says "Delivered" or something. I'll let you know what it says when USPS decides I'm improtant enough to f*cking deliver my damn package.

They received it on the 21st for delivery. It's been over a week. They could have strapped my package to a drunk burro, and it would have ACCIDENTALLY foud my house by now.

Just being impatient... But give me a break.

If you want it, and want it fast, never use the United States Postal Service.

My mom has sent me something one morning, and I had it the following afternoon.

So um... I think your luck just sucks guys.

I agree with Jersey on this one. Generally speaking, I get things the day after my mom sends it to me. Granted I only live about 200 miles away...

Never had a problem shipping with the USPS. And I usually get info whenever it enters or leaves a depot, too.

Something is wrong, and it's not with the USPS.

Depends a lot on how you get it shipped. If you use that "Free Shipping" option while ordering from online places EVERYTHING is likely to suck - from tracking to delivery, because of how discounted it is.

If someone you know's sending it, usually it's put out at Priority Rate, and that's a lot better all the way around. It's easier for USPS to track, it's a higher shipping priority and it just goes along with you get what you pay for.

The USPS is better - UPS either loses stuff, damages stuff, or takes ridiculous lengths of time - ever had a 2nd day package show up a week late? I have.

Plus the Post office has flat rate boxes. :)

The USPS is fantastic, and I no longer send things UPS. They have broken almost EVERY SINGLE PACKAGE I have ever sent by them, including the ones I let them pack.

So ... how is it that a federal resource is working far better than a private company?

The only time I've had trouble with shipments via USPS is when they've been shipped via media mail. Then I expect to wait two weeks for the package.

You guys have crap luck with UPS, sounds like.

But most of the time I don't have problem with packages and the USPS either, so.

It's a phone from ebay. I don't recall what method they sent it. But I know there is a cheaper method of delivery that gives you the messages I'm getting. Just "Electronic shipping info received" until it's finally delivered.

I've never had a problem with any other shipping, really...

Well, I guess it'll come everntually. Still not here...

I prefer USPS to UPS of FedEx, but if I had a choice I would chose DHL every time.

My recent problem with USPS: I participated in an online swap on a different forum. My partner ordered something for me directly from the company. I gave her the right address, she gave the company the right address, the company put the right address on the package. One week goes by, nothing. Two weeks go by, nothing. The company says to give it another week since sometimes it can take a while. Three weeks go by, nothing. A few days after 3 weeks the company contacted her, confirmed they had the correct address, but USPS returned it as incorrect. I've been getting my mail at that address for over a year and a half! So they sent it back out priority. It's due today, we'll see if I actually get it or not.
