I think this photo is awesome with just Joanna (left), and am really tempted to photoshop Hennet (right) out. Sorry Devin.

http://www.turboninjas.com/gallery/d/24 ... People.jpg
That is awesome. I think the sky would have been better if there were fewer (but not a total lack of) clouds though.

That last one really is sweet, Infin.

Lots of good pictures.

Our gallery can be seen right here.

I'll be zipping up some of our favorites in the full res version to add to Infin's collection sometime tonight. Forgive the mediocre album. It's the first time I've tried to create a web album with iPhoto, and I really had no idea what I was doing. None.

Just a note - nearly all of our pictures were taken by KatFreak, as I don't yet have my own camera :P

Did anyone get a shot of where I landed?
Did you ever land? I thought you just hovered back tot he house after that.

Infin, is the washed out look of the pictures the result of camera metering, filter or dropping the res down? I kinda like it. Makes it look like it was a billion degrees kelvin.

edge, those pics are great!

Just as an aside:

Flickr provides a nice way of hosting photos and making groups and such too, plus it provides an easier (IMO) means of linking to a photo in a message board -- but that's my personal taste.

I still run a Gallery 2 install, but it's such a PITA to upgrade that I've just kinda given up and moved onto Flickr for my photo needs and can highly recommend it to others here. :)

The look on Deacon's face right there says, "Oh shit... it's further down to the ground than I realized, methinks."

Liz is correct, that's all my editing style. I like Dynamic Range, and I found an editing style that works nicely to achieve the effect.

For shooting, I was shooting in various modes, sadly all at ISO200. I can post up 'untouched' photos if so desired...

Deacon, I got yer landing right here...

Anyways, here's what I've got, between my sadly neglected camera, and my cell phone.

Shame the thing's so slow or I'd probably have had the patience for more than just those.

Anyways, warning: Deacon's moobs.

Edit:

Also, some choice pictures!

And I guess I didn't get too many pictures of pretty girls on my camera, but here's a picture of Sophira, 'cause I guess I should probably post at least one.

Sir Spankspeople, the Chesapeake Bay bridge and tunnel is awesome! Driving home to NJ from NC one year my family saw dolphins right near it.

And that picture of Sophira is really nice!
