RLF Gathering 2008: First Official Mention

Post by Martin Blank » Wed May 02, 2007 5:59 am

I'm not making a big deal out of this right now, but those interested in going should keep in mind the following points:
  • It will be within the continental United States.
  • There's at least a 50% chance it will be back at the same house in North Carolina.
  • It will probably be in the third week of April.
  • There will be fewer available slots than this year, because there were simply too many people present to be able to spend time with everyone.
  • The per-segment price is expected to be in the range of $300-$325, depending on certain factors.

If I show up at your door, chances are you did something to bring me there.

One of these days I'd like to actually make it to one of those...
"He who lives by the sword dies by my arrow."

It will probably be in the third week of April.
Can this be pushed back a bit? Say, third week in May?

I nominate the Corpus area. Some salt water fishing, some jelly-fish wrestling, oil rig counting...good stuff.

Actually, you guys are going to kill me. My boss just said yesterday that they are planning to do an office cruise next year. Which means I have to decide between a free Cruise, Japan to see my best friend or the Gathering because of vacation time. :(

Sent. Don't worry about the ticking, it's the security system inside of the box to keep the check safe. Don't hesitate to turn on your gas appliances and pour gasoline on the floor before opening the package.

We shall see, what with schedules and all. But if everything goes right for me, chances are my vacation next year will come sometime between the second week in April and the last week in August.

But I'm definitely going to try and make it one of these years...
