Uh... I don't get the joke either. Is it some obscure cultural reference from long before I was born? My boss makes those on occasion as well, and then tries to explain the 70's to me.

That is under the assumption that water running is simple. And across oceans? Forget about it. Salt water may be more solid than fresh, but then there are the storms and the waves... as a matter of fact, i wouldn't be shocked if more than on ninja had his ass saved by a viking...
