Sit a while, and listen ... (Blizzard News)

... Well no, it's not Diablo, but I can't think of a good Starcraft line.

Anyway. FANFARE. And wootness.

Why wootness and fanfare?

Because Starcraft 2 was just announced.

And a fevered "meh" was heard from the crowd.

..pretty. Looks a bit generic so far, but hey, I loved starcraft.

Plus I've got a bit of a fetish for Kerrigan ripping Jimmy a new one. Heh. Heh.

Ok, I know im going to get murdered for this and all, but im only halfway excited. I was extremely disappointed by C&C 3 because after playing through it, I realized how *dated* it felt. Harvest tiberum--->build mammoth tank---->repeat

The gameplay looks pretty, but once again, so does C&C 3. I really, really hope that we get something more than SC with updated graphics.

Truth be told, Dawn of War has completely spoiled me in the RTS genre, which is where much of my displeasure with the old formula comes from. After getting hooked on DoW, I couldn't go back to the farming for resource crap and the universal win method of spamming the best unit.

I just watched the trailer. I think I might have cried a little.

This is the most awesome game news I've heard in a very long time.

After I read that I went to the Blizzard site. It's nice to know that the folks at Blizzard still at least pretend to have a sense of humor. "Starcraft II. Hell, It's About Time"

They aren't gonna use the Warcraft 3 engine, it looks like. :(

Dammit, now I have to get a new graphics card.

Problem with DoW is that in online games, you can win 99% of them by going Eldar, building a webway gate to the other guys base by teleporting in bonesingers and then sending through fire dragon squaddies. They don't even seem to notice it when you do it repeatedly.
