Not since I was 15.

Or was that 16 when she said she was 15? Hmm... who can remember incredibly trite, pointless issues from 7 or 8 years ago?

I've been on the forums just slightly longer than you have and that's just a bit over six years so 7 or 8 years is a bit off the marker, for the record.

Edit: 5 and half or so, actually. It's a year longer than I've been in California.

Is it? Well I guess I would've been... 17 then? Yeah, I suppose that's about right. Shortly before I had my surgeries.

For all those interested, a former board member who was 13 had told me she was 15, and we talked romantically for a while, and then I found out she was 13 and that was it. ONOZ!

I joined in March of 2002 which would have made you 18, actually.

I had my surgeries senior year, both of them before I turned 18 in March, so that has to be wrong somewhere, because I did some of my first posting while I was out there for my first surgery. But even if I'm somehow mistaken, does 18 and 15, especially when it's halfway around the world and there's no chance of meeting eachother for probably a decade, make a difference?

I was over at my friend's place earlier this evening, and his goldfish attempted to eat his piranha. Big mistake! I'll put it this way, the goldfish's heart was no longer beating.

I had the day off, but my boss called me to ask me to come in. Not the biggest issue in the world. But, as I was walking out of my new apartment, one of the regulars rides by on his bike. Oddest thing ever. I meet so many of the regulars walking down that street that I'm tempted to put up a 'Nerd Xing' sign. :?

Terrene, Blaze, and everyone else: enough. Discussion over. Get this thread back on topic.

You both have been around long enough where you know discussions like this are both unfruitful and downright destructive.

This won't make much sense except to a couple of really technical people.

Five LUNs on our primary SAN failed today at almost exactly the same time, all at the same time, doing significant damage to nearly two dozen guests on two VMWare ESX servers. So far as I know, they're still cleaning up the mess from it. I lucked out in that I only had to get two servers operational. Yay for physical servers not touching the SAN.
If I show up at your door, chances are you did something to bring me there.
