Re: June Sig Trend Theme - Favorite Fictional Character
Guess I could just change Febrary to June! <3 Guybrush!
Sloth: Am I a year behind already?

February was some lyrics or quotes month or something. I don't even remember what year all this was.

Nice Blend with the classic Willy Wonka, BtEO
I'm not sure whether to expand on Yomiko Readman (from ROD) for bibliophiliac awesomeness or go with Ayumu "Osaka" Kasuga (from Azumanga Daioh!) for random thoughtiness. More later.

Just a little something I whipped up before breakfast:

SevTiZ: Both are good choices! You could probably do more interesting things with Osaka though.

Meh? Did I miss something?KitsuneMusume wrote:[Yes rkitekt, my download finally completed.
I'm planning on it. Waiting to see what Joanna's stupid school does. If they put her in Algebra and Intro to writing, she may take the term off and try again next term, in which case she'll be there as well. If she decides to go to school this term, she'll probably not be there since it's a short week and the work load is the same as a normal week, and everything is still due on Sunday... err... early monday morning. You should convince her to come either way.KitsuneMusume wrote:Hey are you two coming down next weekend?]
A very large man is ripping your ears off Percy. I suggest you do as he says.

OK...how?
The follies which a man regrets the most in his life are those which he didn't commit when he had the opportunity. - Helen Rowland, A Guide to Men, 1922

Well that would depend muchly on his choice of program for such tasks.
But as a general rule you'd make sure your active layer is anything other than a background layer; applying all your text and effects (such as the drop shadow) on that layer and other non-background layers.
Then comes the tricky task of selecting .png in the 'save as' dialog rather than .gif.

Also: new sig. Skipping over Death for it.
"My favorite fictional characters are our friends, family, and loved ones. Oh, you think they exist, but no: they don't really exist, at least the people you are close to. What you're close to is not who they are, but an illusion, a fiction, something that's not quite really there - a fiction built on knowledge not of who they are, but on filtering only your knowledge of them, through your own perceptions. The "you" that you love, then, is not the "you" that they are, but the fictitious and not wholly factual "you" that exists in your head; they are no more real than the characters played out on the screen in anything that begins or ends with "based on X".
"He who lives by the sword dies by my arrow."
"In your histories, there are continual justifications for all manner of hellish actions. Claims of nobility and heritage and honor to cover up every bit of genocide, assassination, and massacre. At least the Horde is honest in their naked lust for power."
