If I'm not mistaken the article said there was another wreck in April (on a test track?) with the same vehicle model. The driver flew further than the parts did.

Yeah, I really struggled to regain familiarity with sentence structure.

Rant: Stupid enough to get into a SPPACE discussion. I just don't have the tools, practise, or patience to stick it out.

I still have no idea what one has to do with the other.

Google Translate FTW

Rant: My friend posted that a facebook friend liked both "Curvy girls are better than skinny girls!" and "I wish mosquitos sucked fat, not blood"

As sad as that is by itself, my own brother's fiance did the exact same thing the following day.

Seriously, how sad is that? Not only does she feel competitive with skinny girls (oooh we're BETTER), she is revealing that she's completely jealous of them by indirectly bemoaning her fat cells. Way to go, self-image. Bleh.

Ha ha ha. Oh man, I think that every time I get involved in SPPACE. Which, admittedly, isn't often.
If it's any consolation, I'm reading from the sidelines and I think you're doing pretty well.
I'm sure it's of great comfort knowing an intellectual gargantuan like me is nodding approvingly.

Rant: Signed up for the 10k again this year.
Rant: I'm flabby. I'm out-of-shape. I'm not as fit as I was last year. And last year I was still flabby and out of shape.
Rant: I suppose I should, whaddayacallit, uh, jog.

I think the problem is you were trying to help enlighten us as to what the popular impressions were in the UK, and I couldn't help myself pointing out how many of them were fundamentally screwed up and why, as though you were personally advocating for them (though I feel I must point out that it certainly felt like you were in several of them).

Heh, the problem is that when I see you say something that I feel is "fundamentally screwed up" I almost always find myself unable to articulate it in any reasonable form. Do not ask for specific examples, I will only fail to articulate myself. :P

Well maybe that's not a good sign for the legitimacy/integrity your positions :) I've actually changed a number of my major political and moral stances based on the fact that when confronted with arguments to the contrary I realized my previous opinions weren't as educated as I thought.

Come to the dark side! Eschew old-style idealism for raw pragramatism! You can do it! :)

RANT: IE6. Good god. I'm sitting here in the British Airways club lounge in Johannesburg, and there's no wireless acess, only these connected workstations along a bench. Free food, free beer, free wine, free liquor (sipping 12-year Glenfiddich right now), but no wireless. So I'm stuck running IE6 in 1024x768, it looks like. I'd forgotten how much this browser sucks.
