Don't feel bad, Blackjack. Be comforted in the knowledge that British G.P.s are absolutely fucking useless.
And also raise-hungry non-hour extending cunts.

Rant: I've said/typed "fuck" a lot today. Must be due to...
Major Rant: ...the budget I'm asked to develop for the Village, who haven't developed/created a proper budget in over two years. To only spend $12K more than they taken in in a $1M budget is a miracle. Savannah (County Seat in Andrew County) has a similar budget and still somehow spent $3 M more than what they took in...for a budget of $1.5 M. And that's not including the $31 M debt they have to facilitate. Again, it's a miracle.
Rant: I haven't sworn this much since I was working with Mathematica in college.
Rave: Getting an old email account back with space for MySQL to boot. Oh, SQL, how much I missed you!

I'd take Mathematica any day over Maple. This may be because I prefer functional programming rather than procedural.

Oh god, Maple was terrible. I was so glad when I was introduced to Matlab.

I'm quite happy with my DROID. I wanted to get a Nexus, but it wasn't available for Verizon. Now Verizon has the Incredible. It's very similar to the Nexus, but it has HTC Sense on it; I am not a fan of this, it makes it much more difficult to root and modify. On the DROID, I personally don't care for the physical keyboard, especially since the onscreen one is so good. I'd prefer the better processor of the Incredible, but I've got mine overclocked to 1Ghz and it runs lightning fast, especially with the Bugless Beast ROM (anyone with a rooted DROID, I highly recommend this ROM).

I also hate Maple and Mathlab. My advisor used Mathlab for everything...I couldn't make heads or tails of how to use it.

I've used both of those before, if you mean MatLab and not MathLab, but they are math oriented programs that are made with OOP so they can support all of the OOP stuff, its just they suck in terms of syntax and visibility for anything other than math equations and graphs....

Rave: Finished my link quilt I made for a craft swap. If I remember I will take pics and put them up.
Rave: Going to Orlando for my birthday this year! Should be fun. :D

Rave: Found out yesterday, my SIL is having a boy! I'm gonna have a nephew :D
Rave: Found out today that I only have to complete two online training courses for work and I'll get a raise!
Rant: After completing one of them...I can't find/remember what the other one was and have to wait for the regional pharmacy trainer to respond to my email before I can do it.

Apparently they had free WiFi after all. It was just down briefly. And of course that short time during which it was down was the same time at which I was trying to connect.
