Okay, so, there's been lots of updates, but this one today blows me away. Totally didn't see this one coming. Also, it's amusing because it proves that the points in the prior post aren't necessarily true.

Olimar and a bunch of Pikmin are playable combatants? Umm, what? Seems bizarre and potentially awesome. I'd like to see more detail about him, like attacks and stuff, but it sounds like it could be a unique way to fight. I'm guessing that maybe his special attacks are how he goes about producing the pikmin to battle.
Crazy stuff.

This is kinda crazy, the game is so close to launch (they're already showing ads for it in Japan) and they're still adding new playable characters? Madness I say!

Quite a few leaks lately — all come with spoiler warnings as they contain stuff Nintendo hasn't (officially) made public on the Dojo yet.
First came a video on the Japanese site that accidentally confirmed a few
hidden characters. It was pulled very quickly, but not quick enough.
And today it seems there's been a leak of the
full character roster and other screenshots (thanks to
Scott for collecting those together) and the
Japanese intro video.

Scott from VGC posted a parody of it with Jesus and one of his characters, but he's also posted what looks to be a much more real shot. They're not the same, and the real one doesn't have Jesus or the lesser looking 2D drawings of any characters.
