"You can sit here for now but I have a friend coming and we have something personal to talk about. If you catch my meaning." Cranston looked at the paper again interested in this Dan the Persuader's luck. How could a man be that lucky thought Cranston. Alex asked him a question and after he ordered his food he asked again "Oh. I'm just reading about this guy called Dan Lasras, ever hear of him?"

"No, I haven't. Who's that? And yeah I'll leave as soon as your friend gets here." Alex answered.

"I work in a videstore. The job suits me fine, I love movies and it's a small shop so not a lot of people visits it so most of the time I just watch movies all day long." Alex said and then the waitress came over with his food. "Here you go." She said and left. "Have you seen the original King Kong from -33? It's a real classic, the special effects are really well done for 1933."

" Never really like King Kong but I did watch the Marx bros when I was a kid. More of an old radio and tv show enthusiast myself, but I like playing video games. My last job was at a Gamestop."

"That's cool cause I love videogames myself. I'm thinking about getting an Xbox 360 pretty soon. Right now I only have a crappyass PS2 but I have some good games for it. Ever played Grand Theft Auto? It's the best game series ever! You play as this criminal who has to make his way up in the food-chain and along the way you get to do all kinds of kickass missions. Man it's going to be sweet when GTA4 hits the shelves. Oh, and if you like old school action you should definetly check out La Noire, it's a game about a detective... Well doing detective stuff I guess, there's not much info out about it but it's done in a film-noir kind of way. Like Sin City, have you seen it?"

"Im not into the whole console thing, I prefer the almighty power of the PC. GTA's good but after VC everything else feels the same. I usually play FPS and right now I'm playing TF2 with a side of Sam and Max."

Andrew yawned and rolled over, unceremoniously, onto the floor

...Ow.

As he was untangling himself from his covers, he looked around

Yo, Cranston! You awake? I'm hungry

Andrew only got silence as a response.

Great.....he's already gone

Andrew finally released himself from the grip of the cheap hotel sheets. He sat on the bed and stretched. He did his normal routine. He did a small amount of exercise involving mostly pushups and crunches. He brushed his teeth, showered, and tossed on his old clothes (since he hadn't really had time to pack). He made a mental note to get some new clothes today. He may be on a mission to save the world, but he wasn't gonna stink up the place while doing it. After all that, he saw Cranston's note.

Damn that guy gets up early....Well, hopefully he's still there.

Andrew grabbed his coat and momentarily entertained the idea of buying a gun. After last night, he thought, they should be a bit more prepared. He walked across the street to the diner and saw Cranston with some new punk. Again, after last night, trusting strange people seemed out of the question. He sat down at the table and spoke to the stranger

Unless your selling life insurance, I suggest you move on, buddy...I've recently developed an inherent suspicion of people I meet at diners.

"Woah! Chill out man! I'm leaving, no need to get angry." Alex took his food and moved to another table. "He wouldn't be as cocky if he knew what I could do to him..." He thought and started eating his food. Alex tried to overhear what the two was talking about but he could only snap up single words that made no sense so he went back to his food. "The first guy sure as hell was nicer than his asshole friend. Wonder what he meant about being suspicious about people in diners..."

There was a newspaper lying on Alex's table, he picked it up and looked up the page about Dan Lasras that the guy had been talking about. It was about some extremely lucky guy Alex didn't understand why the stranger had been so interested in it, it just seemed like any normal make-happy newstory.

OOC: What IS your power, Krush? The link got cut off and it doesn't say anywhere in your bio....

Andrew took the paper and read it, talking as he scanned the article

I'm not saying everyone is cannibals, but I am saying that we are in the middle of something fairly important and you can't just trust people you meet out of the blue. Especially now that we've had one of our group mysteriously vanish into thin air.

Andrew finished reading

Sounds like that guy has everything he needs. What about him?

Come on man stop being so thick headed. "seals deals with just about anybody" its impossible for someone to seal deals with out a hiccup, in business there is always a guy haggling but from what I hear in this article everyone he makes deals with just settle on the first, if I was offered a deal I would try to get a little bit more out of it not just settle on the first one, unless it was something stupid like 5million dollars for a lollipop.

He stared at Andrew

Its just a hunch but if my intuition is right this guy may have an ability. Dont try to tell me Im wrong because in the last few days Ive seen you get people to do whatever you wanted them to. We should at least check this out we have nothing better to do.

Andrew allows a smirk

Fair enough....so what? We can safely assume that there's more people like us. Think we should go knock on his door or something?

Andrew grabs a nearby waitress and asks for a stack of pancakes. He thinks about trying to get something extra, but after last night's experience he holds back

Mutters
stupid freakin' cannibals ruining my libido....
