Does this mean we'll see the Virgin Mary wearing a light blue Sailor Scout Suit? And she'll undergo a super long-extended transformation sequence in Revelation when she's ready to crush head of a serpent, who looks a lot like a large red Pikachu?

I suppose Lot's daughters are going look like Shampoo and Urd. And David defeats a giant, which actually turns out to be one of those Eva Angel units, driven by Bathsheba.

God, my anime knowledge is rather limited. And I'm probably going to hell because of this.

Uhh... don't you think it's difficult to ask such dramatic questions about such a well known work? Next year, they're going to put out Manga Darwin. "Will he theorize on the development of life, or just kill and eat everything on the Galapagos?"

Heard about this on the ANN RSS (yay for news ticker plugin for Firefox). Weird stuff, I wonder if this was commissioned by the church? If so, then damn, they're more in touch with popular culture than I ever suspected. Personally, I secretly hope it will be like this.
