We just had the freshman class officer elections. Our choices were between a slate of five freshmen who I don't know or give a shit about, or some chubby, irritating bitch named Zoe who would always stand by the underpass that leads from the residential college to the main campus, handing out candy or sudoku puzzles or riddles or other shit. I voted for all write-in candidates.

President: Admiral Ackbar
Vice President: Zorro
External Vice President: External Zorro
Treasurer: The Captain
Secretary: Tenille

Ahhhh, student governments. As ineffectual as real governments, but without the pointless bureaucracy! :-D

My high school sounded about like Blaze's. Especially the leaving senior class is half the number of incoming freshman. That fact hasn't changed in YEARS. Our county is one of the worst in the state for STD's, drug use, and teen pregnancy. And we have a mighty high dropout rate.

Well if you're definitely 100% sure you're gunna win, you might as well take advantage of it in a hilarious way. Like put up posters describing the horrible atrocities you plan on instigating when you are eventually elected and boasting there is no way for them to stop it. Say you're going to organize mandatory field trips to local prisons or cancel prom or something.

Seconded, but I'm curious about one thing.

Rikku, what did Prom ever do to you?

She doesn't remember exactly, but there was a lot of drinking involved, and the next day she was covered in blood that wasn't hers, and Prom avoided her ever since.

I hope you are a football player or something. Popularity contest and high school government are one in the same.

The high school was also burned to the ground, and there was no evidence of foul play. Well, there was that one guy who was harpooned, then burned to death. But his corsage still looks lovely.

Negative.

And I never got asked to prom. I was a "tomboy geek" in High School. Now I take apart bombs and teach people how to use guns for a living. I turned out ok, right?

P.S. It wasn't a harpoon, it was a javelin, durr.
