Snacks and non-alcoholic drinks are covered.
Also can we have cheese cake every night.

And brownie sundaes.
Unlikely, unless you mean cheap $1.89 frozen cheesecake slices from the store. You're welcome to buy whatever we don't provide (we provide a lot). Desserts are possible in general, but may not happen every night.
Hey, if someone paid for me to go I'd totally be up for making cheesecake. I looooooove makin' cheesecake.

Since you are starting a food discussion I thought this might be a good time to post. I don't know if there is an official "ok we are going to Hatteras" or not. I do know I have to go to Va Beach April 15-16 for a food show. Which reminds me if anyone needs a ride either way let me know. Anyway I digress, if you do decide to come to Hatteras for me to do dinner for you guys I am willing to take suggestions. I don't want to hijack the thread so feel free to PM me. It seemed like the crabs and fish cakes went well last year. There are a lot of options with seafood especially if I can talk you guys into going out and catching some of your own :P

Hell, yeah, we're going down there. You're not getting off that easily.
If I show up at your door, chances are you did something to bring me there.

Sweet! Just let me know what day to plan for and what kind of things you want to do. Just dinner is cool but as I said before there is boat riding/sightseeing/clamming that can be done as well.

How much does a charter cost? Doing a boat trip would be alot of fun, but Greg and I won't have alot of cash to help pay for it.

Thats fine I would take a small drawing as payment :P I am talking about small skiff type boats 24' we have one as well as a friend of mine so we could take you guys out in the shallower waters of the sound. There will be areas you can get out and walk/swim/clam. There are also several small islands that you can go on that are pretty cool. My husband would not need an excuse to take his boat out I promise you lol. There wouldn't be a cost to you guys other than whatever snacks and drinks you wanted. 6-8 people per boat won't be a problem.

Well that sounds amazing. We're starting to run out of "sights" to see, so boating sounds like a blast. :D

I understand, there won't be any goofing off while the boat is moving. The areas we are going into are very calm and relatively shallow. They are smaller boats and don't have super powerful engines so they don't really zoom around. I will do whatever possible to make sure you have a safe trip and stay in your comfort zone. There will be rules that everyone has to follow for safety while in the boat or water. I plan to bring 'em back alive ;P

Spaghetti! It's inexpensive and fairly easy, but I don't know where it can go from a gourmet standpoint. But I love a well done spaghetti. Too often it's just a jar of Prego tumped over a plate of boiled spaghetti noodles.
