A couple of things, design studio makes things a bit different this year with scheduling. Also because of a much stricter corporate environment, which actually keep strack of used vacation time, my wife and I will only be able to take a fragment this year... tentatively. We just have to decide which. The biggest factor is that this may be the last year that it's just my wife and I in the immediate rkitect/pickel family household, so we definitely want to get out and see everyone... just in case. Either way, I'm almost 90% positive we will be in one fragment or another. There's even a chance that the miata may make it up this year!

Adciv: school gets in your way? My wife and I won't even touch on this subject.

Is there another way to get from the airport to the house without a shuttle? As in, is anyone planning on driving through Norfolk and would have space for one more?

Well considering almost all of us are flying into Norfolk and renting a few cars, I am sure you can work out a ride with someone. But you will have to schedule your arrival about the same time that others are arriving. Deacon usually rents. Greg and I are renting again. Jaime rents. Martin rents. There should be plenty of space in one of those cars for you. You will probably have to chip in on gas and such, but it's cheaper than a shuttle.

hmm this is starting to sound more plausable. The flight I was looking at arrives in Norfolk at around 16:30 from what I remember. Chipping in for cars and gas isnt a problem and if I end up going to this gathering I promise I'll bake something nice for everyone
