10/25/2007 - The Arrival

Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

Have fun in Texas! San Antonio really is beautiful! and very family friendly. I highly recommend going to eat at Bill Miller's BBQ, it's reason enough to move to San Antonio. I also think you'd be impressed with The Quarrey, it's just a shopping/entertainment center w/ movie theatre, book store, GameWorks, and plenty of places to eat.

As Bigity said before, try the Mississippi Delta. Ugh.

And no, Oklahoma is NOT better than TX. Oklahoma is not better than ANYWHERE. :P

All I could find for MS was Tupelo

which isn't too bad a difference...

RE: Temperature swings

I remember one February back in high school (in east texas) one day I wore shorts to school because it was so warm, and then the next day we got a "snow" day due to icy conditions

A common joke in Texas for Oklahoma is.
You know why Texas doesn't slide off into the Gulf? Cause Oklahoma sucks.

Of course it's actually a pretty state but as you get towards it's northren side it becomes like Kansas and it's flat enough to bore you to tears.

We ate at Bill Miller. It wasn't THAT great. But it's tough to compare after eating at Rudy's Country Store and BBQ.

You guys will fit in just fine.

Mmmm, Rudy's.

And honestly, it's been cold the last...like...3 days. Well, coldish. I had the heater on. One night.

Still! Welcome to Austin! Go see Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D, hit Amy's Ice Cream for boozed up ice cream, and enjoy it here!

Which one? Leon Springs or the one they opened in San Antonio?
