My ex goes to Numbers nightclub every year for Halloween. It's on Westheimer. It's a goth/fetish club.

Red Roof Inn and Beer. What else do you need? Something to get drunk on and a place to sleep it off.

One thing I discovered during my years of living in Houston is there is absolutely NOTHING to do there. Ever. Halloween or otherwise.

It’s because it is usually too miserable outside to do anything. If you want to do stuff in the greater Houston area you make it on down to Sugar Land. The new town center is where all the people are. Shopping, food, a Starbucks and a mall all in walking distance. And at the big square out side of city hall they show movies, have karaoke, and do dancing.
I’m going to drop a hammer right here and now, because I’m tired of people putting down the place I live. For years I thought as you do, that there is nothing to do in Houston, but in the past three years I found it to be completely untrue. We have football, baseball, indoor soccer, hockey, and basketball. There is a wonderful theater district here with something showing almost every night. We have the museum district that always has special events at night. There are tons of places to eat, tons of movie theaters, tons of malls, and tons of parks. The city hosts fairs and carnivals at the parks almost monthly. They have concerts on the city hall steps. It’s like other cities only it’s hot and humid so people drive to where they are going, and go inside. No one just walks around the city streets if they don’t have too. The only exceptions are the midtown club scene. If you want to hang out with twenty something drunken posers, then go on down to Bagby and McGowen. Also if you can make it to Texas and Smith there is the big plaza in front of the Alley. There is dancing there almost every night provided by different radio stations. There is plenty to do but I find that most people are just to lazy to go out and do it.
and if you have no clue where to look, go here.

Nothin 'cause you keep picking weeks when I'm too fuckin busy to go there.
<Arc_Orion> And I give rides to dudes!
<kaiju01> Yeah, I'm kind of a dick.
<Hirschof>Long from now, when the Earth is charred and barren, the only things left on the surface will be cockroaches and the continuous bickering between Fuggle and Deacon.
<Deacon> I'm not, however, played by a homosexual child star.

I'm going camping this week end. but with all the wind from the cold front it might be a good time to fly kites at the Miller outdoor theatre. might do that after work today. Or you can go to the Flying Saucer here.
