Greg, you absolutely HAVE to come to Richmond VA. http://www.capitalalehouse.com/libations/lager.php. Capital Ale House is flippin awesome. Almost 100 beers on tap, several hundred other beers in bottles. The wait staff takes 'beer class' once a week to learn about different kinds of beers, where they come from, how they're brewed, taste samples, etc. So most of them are very up to speed and capable of making great recommendations, if you happen to need a recommendation. There are 2 of them here so far and they're opening a third in January. They're just plain awesome... Every Sunday is American Microbrew day, for example, where every american beer on tap is $2 or $3 per pint. Mondays are $1 burger night. Tuesdays are 'Steal the Glass' night. The downtown location has free blues concerts on Fridays from 5pm til 8pm... I could go on and on about this place for hours.

<3 Flying Saucer
I should've signed up for the Beer Knurd program a long time ago. I've only got like a dozen different brews on the card now.

Yup, I-10 and Huebner. No place quite like that in Austin, that I know of. There are certainly places where you can get a wide variety of beer, but nothing quite like the Knurds at the Flying Saucer.
And hopefully you went on a Monday night. Out of like, 250 beers on tap, all but about 10 super premiums are only $2.50/pint on Mondays. Gotta love cheap experimentation. Its also one of the few places in SA where you can get an almost decent selection of ciders on tap.
Ahhh, I kinda miss SA on days like this.
I saw the first panel and I was like, "I recognize those plates and the color of those walls. . . is that the Flying Saucer?" So I guess that means you did an excellent job on the background, Greg.

He did indeed.
And I like Thursdays: $2 mystery beer. You're guaranteed to get a random assortment of stuff. Great for trying new things and checking off more beers for the UFO club.

*steals joke seen in a Deacon post a while back*
Celebrating the lease? That sounds suspiciously like a euphemism...
Thank you, real life forums, for ruining all Verb-Article-Noun combinations for me.

He's been in a couple strips already. So, the apocalypse should have already been here already.

In the last two panels, it seemed like Greg was stealing lines from Largo--or at least the new-classic Largo, before Fred got him hawt for teh chixxorz. "D!5 /\/\3|\|j00 !5 thr33 p4935 of |\|07#!|\|9 8v7 b33|2!!!! 3y3 w4|\|7 2 l!\/3 h3|23!!!!"

Thanks for reminding me why I don't read Megatokyo. Murderous rage is something I do try to avoid when possible.

Freg never does any 1337 that complicated. Two characters per letter, tops.

Ok, coming soon actually. But still, having not heard of the place, my first thing was to look to see where it was. Was pleased to see it landing soon.
