Ah, I thought you meant "back off their opinions" which seemed an interesting thing to assert...

I too have finally begun to create my list. I figured I'd use it partially as a wishlist, and partially as a reminder to myself of things I want to buy later. Thus, the uber expensive stuff.

Like I said - much of that stuff is just a reminder of what I want to get myself someday. :P

I have lots of kitchen stuff that people can buy for the new apartment! We only have one pan and one small pot! Our kitchen is barren and empty!

Old Mother Hubbard
Went to the cupboard,
To fetch her poor dog a bone.
But when she got there,
The cupboard was bare,
And so the poor dog had none.

So I have an interesting memory.

I should put pots and pans on my list. I am planning to get my own apt in the beginning of the year.

Old Mother Hubbard
Went to the cupboard,
To fetch her poor dog a bone.
When Hubbard bent over
Rover took over
And gave her a bone of his own!

I put very expensive items on my list but I hope that won't deter anyone!

I should just get my mother to ship my box of kitchen equipment to you guys rather than holding on to it to see if she can eventually drive it out here... I have nowhere to keep most of it. =\

I should throw mine in here, too:

Martins Wish Lists

All neatly organized by type, if you look on the left.
If I show up at your door, chances are you did something to bring me there.

I'd say wanting reference books is bad, but there's a text book I want.
