Interesting, so the title means that it is true. This is the next doctor. Probably, or a shapeshifting, copy-cutter or whatever...
Not like the 'Doctor's daughter' title i quess then.

And once again, the Christmas special blows. It drops to its knees, eagerly licks its lips and hungrily engulfs the throbbing member of shitty television.
"Hey! What celebrity can we shoehorn in? Which jobbing actor is available? That bird from the M&S adverts - she used to be vaguely popular! Let's get her in! She needs to use up her BBC canteen vouchers befrore they expire at the end of the year anyway."

Re: Who watches Doctor Who
FYI, this is taking place about 15 minutes from where I live in February.
Re: Who watches Doctor Who
Well, it was an interesting episode.
But the title and all that hype seriously made it easy to let down the viewers.
Also, most of the big -plot twists - were easily seen.
Come on, it would be one or the other. It wasn't so hard to figure it.
I actually expected something mind-blowing for the revelation...well, that's what they promised in the interviews.
Anyway.
At least it was nice seeing a man 'understanding’ the Doctor, and actually making him dinner with him. Lol.
Weird thought that after all these 'I wanna travel with you forever', or the 'why did you left me back?' or the 'where have you been?' he actually feels 'they' leave him???
Oh, and it was so wonderful seeing the most clever mind on Earth and the most feminist woman possibly ever lived, falling into a self-destroy end.
Ye…figures.

Well, you do have to look at the scope of the entire show. Most of his past companions have left him, although two have been killed (Katarina and Adric), and two were forced to leave him (Zoe and Jaime).lifedeath wrote: Weird thought that after all these 'I wanna travel with you forever', or the 'why did you left me back?' or the 'where have you been?' he actually feels 'they' leave him???![]()
And speaking of the old series...I kinda wish they'd have the Mondasian Cybermen rather than the alternate-Earth Cybus Corporation Cybermen. I liked the fact that they really looked like human bodies augmented with cyber technology with sing-song voices that hinted at an voice struggling to speak.
The First Doctor encounters the Cybermen for the first time.

Hmm...interesting choice. A Doctor played by someone younger than me. How depressing.

New Doctors always do. I wouldn't even look at David Tennant for the first couple of episodes.

How sad that my most successful thread is about something I no longer give two shits about.

When did you loose interest in the show?

She loosed it all over SoCal.
