Well, apparently the Scubs season finale hasnt been written yet. The studios had wanted one written in case of a strike and Bill Lawrence refused. So, unless they bring Scrubs back for another season, fans of the show may never get to see how it all ends. That would be a shame.

...I hope you're just screwing with me. I want to know Janitor's name, dammit! >:O
I had that dream again. My world was black as night. Plagued by visions of a future world, I sang about these dreams, warning man of his demise. Wasted words that no one heard...
I know the truth is out there...

It's Jan Itor.
My slow descent into madness seems to have abruptly become a flaming plunge.

I've read elsewhere that Bill stated that one way or another fans would find out the ending of the show. He might show it online, it might end up on the dvd set, or it might be aired on tv. But it will be either shown or known. Here's one of the articles I read.

Yeah, I agree with Infin. It would be nice to know how it ends, but having followed the show since episode 1, I want more than just a script to say how it will all go down. I know they dont really owe it to the fans who have been around for as long as I have with them, but I do want to say that they owe us for helping to make the show such a big success. We deserve a real ending. At least Bill didnt cave for a less than ideal ending. I would think that there would have to be something in thier contracts to go through all 18 episodes. After all, half a season != a full season.
