That is a tough question to answer because you also have to factor in the guy. Is he the type that no matter when you sleep with him you will always be a piece of ass and not a girlfriend or the type that you can sleep with once and they think you are in love and become obsessed with you? I think most guys want some lovin sooner rather than later its how they feel about you to start with that will decide how they treat you.

All the girl magazines say that you should hold out until at least the third date because otherwise a guy will lose respect for you and think you are cheap. As a result, you are less likely to graduate up to girlfriend. I am simply wondering if there is much truth to that.

Well, every girl that I have ever dated waited at least that long, so I would say go with it.

Wow, yeah, that answer is totally "it depends" which sucks, I know. It totally depends on how things click and really depends on decent communication. In fact, if a second date is desired (rather than just some gratification), that should be arranged before the end of the first date so that any after-dinner festivities can be held in the proper context as well.

I'd say it depends on how well I get to know them. I'm not the type of guy that likes to hook up with a random stranger. If I had dated her a few weeks and gotten to know her a little better it would be fine if things headed that way.

That's horse shit. In most cases he either didn't respect you to begin with ( thus the lying to get in your pants) or won't stop simply because you made the beast with two backs. Sex is fun, if you're feeling the attraction go for it. If he gives a squiggy feeling ( the bad kind ) then don't. Setting achievement goals won't make him more likely to call you the next day.
