Vegetarians
Ok, so it'll probably have me told off by the entire forum, but I'll go ahead an admit it. I'm a vegetarian. I'm not one of these craaazy people who go sit out in front of McDonalds with protest signs, but I still feel the wrath of most people. What, exactly, is everybody's *beef* (Ok so I'm bad at puns) with vegeterians?

Hello there.
You may well be flamed. Although, it's more likely that you'll be flamed for a) starting a duplicate thread or b) posting in the wrong forum.
I would strongly recommend clicking the 'edit' button and adding some extra content to start a different topic. Mostly nice here but some people can be kinda mean here.

Theres nothing wrong with veggie eaters.
Boca burgers are yummy!
although I am a big meaty eater and such, im slowly trying to eat more non meaty stuff. Eventualy I might actualy like Shushi XD
However, I just never liked the veggie eaters who all of a sudden feel that they are better than meat eaters b/c so based on some obscure reason from something or another.

Veggies and vegans have really good food which they tend to eat.... as a result of some of the things I've been introduced to by some of my vegan friends I've started eating a lot more different, but very good vegan foods as a change of pace to some of my other dietary habits (that said I've always been one for lots of fruits and veggies in the food I eat...)

I have absolutely no problem with vegetarians. They're cool people, and just the other day I contemplated trying a box of Boca burgers. They are expensive, though... four burgers for $3.50 when you can get a pound of chicken for 50 cents.
Now it's those CATHOLICS that piss me off. Don't eat meat during lent, bah! They'll eat a DOZEN different varieties of fish, but break out the steaks and it's sacriledge!
I could never stand to be a vegetarian, because I don't like soy. That, and I don't want to be dependent on vitamin supplements for certain nutrients. And um... 'cause I like meat, despite the cruel methods used in producing it. I guess when it comes right down to it, my pallete is more important than some animal's life. I'm such a jerk (where animals are concerned).

No beef here unless you stop me from eating my beef stroganoff. Damn I love beef stroganoff....Ok, so it'll probably have me told off by the entire forum, but I'll go ahead an admit it. Seriously though vegetarians do consume less natural resources so thats all good with me. I think society as a whole should eat substantially less meat and more rice and corn.... society needs more cornbread too... cornbread rocks.
Incoherent rambling ends... NOW!
