These new forums are unbelievably pretty. And yes, pretty is the best word to describe them.

Nice job everyone. I even went out and threw together a new avatar to celebrate. Next stop, considering a new sig!

The problem with "blocky" avatars is that the images themselves are a larger size and it's being left up to the browser to render it smaller, and that's not the prettiest way of doing things. It's like trying to resize images in Paint.

The Cid, see if this works better for you:
Works great. Thanks, Deacon.

I was also tricked. I woke up and immediately messaged gowerly asking if he knew what was going on.

I know I am still considered fairly new, but I have found a home on the boards. I love coming here everyday and reading every thread. I consider a lot of people I met here my friends. There are also a few I would consider family. I love these boards. The new look and layout are fantastic.

Thank you to the all the mods especially MB for all you do. Thank you to Bag for the idea of this great new layout. Last but not least, thank you to Greg (and Liz :D) for making it possible.

I'm glad everyone's enjoying the champagne. I rather enjoyed the glass of Glenlivet that I was sipping as I was prepping the roll-out. The only thing that would have been better was realizing before 9pm that I wanted Scotch, and getting to the local specialty store to pick up a bottle of Glenlivet Nadurra, but the basic form went down fine.
If I show up at your door, chances are you did something to bring me there.

I see a lot of hard work by a bunch of people. I see a lot of code that I don't understand but can appreciate. I see.....purty colors....
