I Found Real Life....

Post by Moggie » Thu Feb 28, 2008 3:49 am

...turns out I left it in my other pants pocket the whole time!

Er, yes hello, I'm Moggie. I like video games, web comics (gee really?), SCA and City of Heros. I'm a bone fide girl geek, although I may just be a geek groupie since I collect strange people.
I was informed that this was an interesting place to go when I'm supposed to be at work and so far it has lived up to the claim.
Currently I work 40hrs a week and am going to school full time so I can claim insanity caused by excess information for almost anything.
Pleased Ta Meet 'Cha!

Video games is ludicrously braod. Not quite plaid-broad yet, but getting there. Other than CoH, what kind of games are you into? What do you study? What do you do at work? etc, etc. Be less generic! *bonk*

:P

That's where the "groupie" part comes in. I actively play one game. That's all I have time for right now.
However, I watch/follow/enjoy Ultima, WoW, FF (any number), Tabula Rasa, Katamari, and even Diablo now and then. Heck, anything that's vaugely entertaining and they make a game out of it I'll watch for awhile.

I work in a Secured Area at IBM handling [classified], talking to [classified] and getting stuff together to build [classified] [classified] [classified]. As you can tell, this keeps me pretty busy. Not to mention being remarkably hard to explain.

I'm working on a Master's Degree in Library Science, since librarians are actually the Holders of Knowlege of The Universe, or know where it's filed anyway. As I am po' this means I go to the ACC campus 3 days a week before work and take my other 3 classes on-line. So far, I am 1 year and 1/2 semester into a 6 year degree.

When I'm exceptionally bored, I'll grab my knitting needles or drop spindle and go look for innocent sheep to fold and spindle (but not mutilate). I spin, knit, crochet, dye, sew, and otherwise abuse fiber in a plethora of ways. However, I don't normally do plaid.

Hmm... Neat! NDA-classified or NSA-classified?

Oooh, which campus? If it's Northridge (since I tihnk you said you're in RR, it's possible), isn't the parking just awful? :(

NDA-classified. I work in procurement which isn't half as naughty as I thought it was.

And yeah, I use the Northridge campus and it's a pain in the tookus. However the Riverside campus is much much worse. When I was down there for my Latin classes I had to park across Lamar and hike in every day.
