What are you doing in WSG?! Get to level 70 faster so we can PvP together. You ever seen 2 warriors and a priest in a BG? It's a fury of death and destruction unparalleled. A beautiful thing.

If they don't subject Hamstring to DR, then they'd better take DR off my Sheep and Nukin's fear... :glare:

They need to de-normalize Fear. It's not even funny how easy it is to break Fear for Horde...bastards...

Edit: But I guess from the other side, only having that Horde Warlock fear you for 10 seconds is better than having them fear you for 20....

Beserker Rage? Piffle. The Beast Within, that's where it's at.

Oh, shut the hell up. Hamstring doesn't take control of your character preventing you from doing ANYTHING at all, or worse occasionally running you DIRECTLY into your enemies to die a gruesome death, one I could have normally avoided, by simply continueing to run away. Hell, it has very little effect against half the players (ranged classes) any damn way.

So, it's not really 2.4-specific, but since we're also just chatting general WoW in here...

Docuune the Draenei shaman now exists and is in UOV. Hopefully I'll actually take him somewhere past 20.

2.4 Related Rave: I can now rupture pretty much EVERY mob in Karazhan. Ghosts can bleed now. ROBOTS can bleed now. I'm very excited about this prospect.

Nice. Being caught in the mid-level doldrums with my shaman and facing the ever-increasing weight of the character's complexity and the impending cloud of even more complexity to come, I rolled up a NE rogue and brought her up to 7 or 8 in an hour or two last night. I'm liking it a lot. I just hope there are some talents to decrease the amount of energy used by certain moves. I have a feeling the armor and damage won't scale quite as well as I'd like as I increase in level, but it's fun regardless. I'm thinking a human might've been nice for the increase in rep and sword mastery and such, but hey, I haven't played a NE much at all and at least I get the +1% to dodge, right? :)

NOTE: Yes, it's a female character. One of the few I've ever rolled. I just don't like the look of the male NE.

Reason: Changed "7 or eight" to "7 or 8" as a test of a problem reported by Deacon.

In my current guild, and my previous guild for that matter, it's always been the Rogues at the top of the damage meters. Last time I bothered to keep tabs on the meters one Rogue in our guild was out DPSing the 2nd place, another rogue, but roughly 10k damage. But then again, the Rogue in question is Damage GOD incarnate in Gnome form.

Flyp? Duendo?

Yeah, because a ranged character (especially a hunter, whose power drops dramatically when forced to rely on his vestigial melee combat ability because his Primary Schtick doesn't even work at close range) who can't get out of melee range isn't going splat rather quickly...

... Well, I guess, yeah, a Prot Warrior can't do much to actually hurt people, even up in their face. > : P

I'm usually ever only out-performed by the Huntard of the group, and then only because she is all epic'd, and I still have quite a bit to go. That said, I'm doing that much freaking damage with GREEN fist weapons. Once I get some better drops (Or magane to get 150 badges in time for the badge vendor spawning at sunwell) I'll be upgrading to a set that's somewhere around 5-10 times as powerful. EVEN with this set, I'm out-DPSing a daggers rogue in full epics, which is especially ironic considering the week prior to that he told me "I'm not doing anyone any good running around with Green weapons".

In short, Rogues are damage MACHINES. The great thing is, I can do it while still remaining fairly low on the threat meter. It's awesome.

Deacon: There are some talents that lower the energy cost of certain abilities, but depending on your play style, you might want to go the assasination path, which just randomly adds combo points like a motherfucker. I get an instant combo point ALMOST every time I hit a finishing move, which is especially useful for my 1-SnD-5-Rupture combo chain.

Yes, I think about this way, way too much.

Not Flyp and Duendo isn't a rogue, he's a Warlock.

And yeah, Prot Warriors can take damage like nothing else, but don't expect them to hit for over 100. And when they do it's like a 2 year old using the toilet to shit for the first time, they're so proud of it. :P

Stop it. The stupid is making my head hurt. Any hunter who get's caught by me deserves death. Additionally, yes they're power is reduced but not eliminated. They still have their pet going which is generally BM for PvP and half their dps AND they do melee. A little trap fu freeze trap and ho look he's out of melee range again. Even if I did HS him.

I object! My Prot spec warrior hits for at LEAST 150 and shield slams for a bunch! Of course his Attack power is STILL lower than my Arms/Fury warrior even though prot has epic "dps gear" and A/F doesnt...
