Newbie
In a very 'in the zone' fashion, the past 5 days have been completely devoted to reading ALL of the comics and I just finished. So many of them I can relate to on a daily basis.
Anyway, I am Eleanor (Ellie) a 21 year old ninja chef... in training. I'm currently going to culinary school and in my off time, my soul is captured by WoW and other horribly addicting games. I live in Arizona (unfortunately) and can't wait until the day I graduate to go explore new places. Thought I'd stop by and say hi!

Ninja chef?
So... You're learning to make food that can't be seen, and is deadly poison when it is somehow consumed?
I am intrigued.

If I show up at your door, chances are you did something to bring me there.

According to a few friends, yes. Everything I have made is poison, little to they know, tis classical French cuisine, but with their lovely americanized tastes... this will quickly turn into a rant if I don't stop. Not to mention my uniform is completely black so I feel uber cool, the only thing better would be a camo uniform.

Um... *quietly admits* I don't think I've ever watched even one episode of Naruto, so I'm going to have to say no. I just think it would be pretty cool.
I almost joined the army just to go into their culinary school specifically for the reason of camouflaged uniforms. Decided not to when I realized people would and could still shoot at me even in the kitchen.

He makes cream puffs. Deadly cream puffs. The cream is poisoned and the top is covered with powdered swords.Martin Blank wrote:Ninja chef?

Re: Newbie
That's why they teach you to shoot back. My grandfather was a chef during WWII. One of the things he did that drove his sister in law nuts was give her his old army cookbook and say "make this" for four people. Now, the smallest recipe in there was for something like a platoon and in some cases larger.Elinator wrote:I almost joined the army just to go into their culinary school specifically for the reason of camouflaged uniforms. Re: Newbie
*giggle* I know they teach you to shoot back, but my mother would have killed me way before I even got to basic training. And I'm very used to having to convert recipes made for 100+ and cut them down to make 4 servings. The first book I used in basic skills was like that... it sucks!adciv wrote:My grandfather was a chef during WWII.
