Greetings From The North

Post by Eisen » Tue Apr 08, 2008 6:10 am

I am always a bit awkward with these new poster speeches but here it goes.

I'm Steven a 21 year old Networking & Systems Administration Student at RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology), I have been reading Real Life for about 5 or 6 years now and decided to take the plunge and join the forums. I am a big Anime fan with random tangents into Sci-Fi (Dr. Who, Torchwood, etc.) and look forward to hopefully being an active member of the Real Life forums.

Ah! A young padawan...

Learn this, and learn it well: book knowledge means jack all when you hit the trenches of the real world.

Brought to you by 15 years of IT experience.
If I show up at your door, chances are you did something to bring me there.

All too true, Our labs are all student run (Public labs as well as the Sysadmin/Network labs) so I get to frequently hear the horror stories from a few friends.
