Out of everything you can read and see on global warming you can learn one thing, we don't know the truth. We know for a fact that the world has been much warmer and much cooler than it is now. I'm not even talking about during the formation period and such, we can see in many active coral reefs that the ocean was roughly an average of 22 degrees warmer fairly recently in the overall scale of things. Many scientists think that ocean currents play a much larger role in the receding ice caps of the north and south poles.
The only real fact is that we don't know what is causing the earth to warm. All we know is that it is, it has before and will do it again after another cold period.
