Roosevelt and Taft - though they were riiiiight on the bleeding edge, and they just had mustaches. In other news, I'm just being a bit of an ass.

There are various representatives and senators, though they make up a minority of the men...

Beards do not make men look like angry Amish or like dictators. Beards are hella sexy. Very masculine. On politicians I don't think it detracts, it's just a guy with a beard. Some men look silly without them actually.

Just don't do the oiled mustache or beard thing. That's creepy.

Beards look good on like 2% of men and definitely not at that length. Admire my candor or disdain it, but Kerui, I really don't think that thin cut, beard, and mustache look good on you.

Shave it.

Totally forgot to answer this question, sorry...

Actually, I usually don't have the beard, that is, I don't usually have sideburns or facial hair on my cheeks. My mustache and goatee (what do you call it when it doesn't connect?) usually are separate.

I just realized I haven't expressed a legitimate opinion here. As such, I would like to take this time to increase my postcount.

As for yourself, shave it. Facial hair generally looks good on older guys who take good care of it. You appear to take good care of it, but you haven't had a midlife crisis yet, so I can assure you it won't look good on you.

However, once a guy reaches a certain age, which varies from guy to guy, and depending upon the shape of face he has, many guys look much better with a nice beard. I tell you, that Riker bit holds some incredible truth. Mustaches, however, are almost always out of the question.

Lastly, I would like to point out that you look incredibly similar to my cousin, only he's about five or six years older than you, and his face is a little "taller".

I very much prefer men with well taken care of facial hair. Personally I think that picture looks very professional and incredibly sexy. As long as you keep it kept up and don't let it get shaggy (which can still look sexy, but not as professional) you should be fine. In my opinion. To me guys that are clean shaven look lazy. Like it's just easy to shave it all off instead of taking the time trimming and shaping a beard/goatee.

Have you checked with the requirements of the program you're in? I know some places have guidelines already set for facial hair, so this might be a moot point anyway.
