Greg, you should so go with the golf cart option! I saw a newsblurb yesterday that showed Lockhart, and that some people were advocating making golf carts street legal. The possibilities! Cross a golf cart with "Pimp My Bookcart"! Have golf cart races! Whee!

heh. We saw that on the news last night, too. My husband said "Gee.. I wonder if that's where RL is going?"

No.. I'm far too terrified of "Cart Chaos". :D

Stupid city council - trying to make Lockhart into Rancho Murieta. I ESCAPED the golf carts! I don't want them again!

Of note - the town square you see is about a 5-10 minute walk from our house. Lockhart - she is small.

Just to be complete, also look into segways, Rascal scooters, and go-carts complete with turtle shell and banana ammo. (Maybe a mushroom or two, too. Yes, I'm joking.)

Heh. My mom bought a house in Sun City in Georgetown. You HAVE to be 55 to live there. And most people use their golf carts to get around within the community. Fortunately, she hasn't succumbed yet - I think she's terrified, too.

There is a street legal golf cart running around in the town just north of me. It has a windshield, doors, and a lisensplate... The thing looks like a cross between a jeep and a golf cart, only REALLY ugly.
