Sweet deal.

Five words:
They need a new owner. Peter Angelos has been a cause of misery for the Orioles.
Short of Kevin McClatchey (owner of the Pittsburgh Pirates), there's not a bigger money-first-baseball-second owner in the game, and that's saying a lot because there's a good little pile of those. If he spends any money on a player it's to get people to come to the park, but it's never enough to win. (And it's usually not enough to get people to the game, either!) So now he thinks things are going fine because they DO fill the stadium--but only when a popular opponent comes to town. And there's nothing harder to watch in baseball than a home team whose fans are outnumbered.

I heard about that on Mike & Mike. Their basic comment was that who ever decided that was an idiot and that if the kid played he would help the batters improve a little.

Exactly. You get better by playing better competition.
I also find it interesting that the 8-0 team with the good pitcher is being disbanded, but the team that decided to forfeit a game because they were sure they would lose isn't. The exaggerated message: showing up others is worse than quitting.

Completely retarted. The league should be disbanded for this.

Entertaining, I guess? Michael Symon is /definitely/, right now, not a replacement for Robert Irvine. He may grow into it later, but he's not doing it right now.
Not entertaining, but inspired by the same show, and I'm in this thread already, so it goes here: KING CRAB TEMPURA? Really? Man, Robert, man... that's such a waste.

Rave: I finally found a copy of
Conker: Live and Reloaded!

Rant: Despite running pretty much perfectly, it's freezing when I enter that door near the bottom of poo mountain. Methinks the 360's emulator is failing.

My copy works perfectly, perhaps you have a scratch on the disc?

Perhaps, it does look a little dirty. I just found it odd that this is the only loading screen I've seen in the game, and it's also the point at which the game freezes.
MEGA ENTERTAINMENT RAVE: THEY'RE DOING A
FULL METAL ALCHEMIST SEQUEL! Glee!

To be honest, the way the movie ends, and with the popularity of the original series, it really was only a matter of time.

Conqueror of Shamballa. I found it somewhat disappointing. Still worth watching, though.

I quite liked it, the transplanting of characters from the FMA world into pre-World War II Germany, with science instead of alchemy was a really cool idea. Plus, you got to see Hitler
