I knew you had probably done your research, but I just wanted to make sure. Most of those complaint sites are people who just happened to have a problem and aren't the norm, but it's good to go in with your eyes wide open.
Ok, so I did some type studies tonight, along with some sketches for the logo itself. Greg and I narrowed it down to the best 6 designs. I'd like it if you would narrow it down further for me and then I'll work out some designs that include the logotype (The actual name.) and the narrowed down version of these. Once we figure out all of that, then we'll move onto color.
Here's the designs I worked up:

I think the sixth one is my favorite. I'd love to hear from the others, though--what do you think?

Penis with half-collapsed testicle. But then, I see penises in everything.

This excites me. I'll hop in on it. Or at least I will try to. New semester just started, but we will see...

And that is one of the reasons that we love you!

The fourth one. It could be a permanent choice, lasting years. If you're going to choose, choose wisely

After the 4th one, maybe the second one, but not as good IMHO. If you're going to go for the bold, fat, lower-case G and E, go for the first design.

Indeed...

I've always thought the plural of penis would be "penii", or maybe "panis."

2d. Best choice.
Maybe 1a with the 1c font.

You realize it's the same logo with different typefaces, right? Or are you meaning u/l? I tried the u/l and cut it because it looked funny. I went through probably 50 options for these tonight and these are the cream of the crop.

They were all the same logo, yes. What I was referring to was:
Gray Enterprises (note that it's capitalized), but with the typeface of the "gray enterprises" (note that it's lower-case) in 1c.
EDIT: Now that I put it that way, I probably could've just said "1c but capitalized like 1a"...

u/l = upper and lowercase
So what I said about trying it still stands.

Yup, 2d or 1c. Either one of those.
Once next week rolls around, would there be any way of putting all the submitted designs on a poll?
