9/16/08: Pathos Was Not One Of The Three Musketeers

Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

Ooh. And make it squeak.

Umm. How can you be sure She-Greg doesn't? I mean, we don't know much about her at all, do we? Sure, things seemed to not be different then, but we didn't get much of a view, and that was several years now. I say don't make any assumptions about She-Greg and She-Tony yet, it's too early.

PS: If She-Greg (and She-Tony) goes into common use for these characters, I call trademark! :D Just that I invented it, not wanting royalties or anything. Oh, and I call it on Miss or Mrs Greg, or Gregina (sounds better if you say it out, it's not so much a female version of Greg as a combo of Greg + vagina, so you have to pronounce it as such. Gre-jina. Yea, seems stupider now that it's in print, but what the hell.).
I have nothing useful to put here.

I don't think you can call trademark on other peoples' properties. :D

And I LIKE anime well enough, artistically, I just don't care to make the comic anything even remotely resembling anime. I hate how most anime plots flow, and how characters react. It's insanity.

Megatoyko was good while it lasted, but it died way too early ... and yes I know it's still going on, I'm DisContinuity-ing everything after Rodney left. :p

Spoiler for me being me.

Anyway. As someone kind of said - I dunno how much of that kind of comic this is ('carrying out the logic of its setup', not 'anime'), but yeah - if this Reverse Universe just sprang into being and then carried on, even without people like Liz dying, people would drift possibly fairly far from the start point as they go forward through time; possibly moreso due to the reverse of genders (I wonder if that reverses gender roles? Hm... but then that wouldn't make sense, yet at the same time ... hrm) than as if it was just a split copy universe ... as evidenced by small or big things, like Female!Tony not having a space station ... ERGO, Greg not being into anime or not, might not have much bearing on Female!Greg being into anime or not.

Possibly also due to Female!Greg being more in tune with Liz than Greg in the punchline, something that a whole copy "with just the gender changed" wouldn't do, further evidence (if we assume logic to the strip) that she has ceased to be, if she ever was, just "Greg, but a woman". Because if she WAS Greg, she would find it as funny as he did.

...Hm. Would be interesting if that implied the Creator!Greg had an alternate in that universe, who made it a different sort of comic. And if that doesn't happen, I'm so using that idea because it'd be spiffy. :o

I take it you've forgotten/misssed the references in past comics to Oh!My Goddess, Tenchi Muyo, and Neon Genesis Evangelion.
Yo Mav, I'm real happy for you and Imma let you finish but Hirschoff had the best sig trends of all time.

Except for the fact that Female Greg was wearing the same outfit as Male Greg when they first met...

I meant after that, when Greg got his red shirt for the first time. Something like that.

My question, for example, was simply a case of forgetfulness. The rest is explained using common sense. :)
Check out my webcomic, Fake Life (idea blatantly stolen.)
