Well, then you'd be exempt when I pushed the button, if you know what I mean... ;)

I don't think I would. Where's the guarantee I'd actually get the money? On whose word is this? No deal.

Well, let's just "sweeten" the deal by saying that the money is guaranteed.

Then still no. If I can get through life without a million dollars, then I don't need to kill anyone for it.

What if it's an AIDS-riddled starving orphan in Darfur who's about to die anyway and would otherwise be raped to death? Or an old person who's checked out already and about to be taken by Alzheimer's? There are certainly those for whom death is not a terrible option.

I think I could do it without feeling remorse for my action. Random person that I don't know? Assuming this is a no-strings-attached-push-button-kill-person-get-money-no-culpability type deal...yeah, I could push a button for a million dollars. My friends and family would be safe so...why not?

Just keep in mind that it's "someone you don't know."

I thought of this as well.

But knowing me, my next thought would be "but I bet that button doesn't do anything anyway." So I'd probably end up pressing it after a while for some stupid reason.

Oh yeah, I glazed over the part where it's someone I don't know. But, Arc has a point. It could be HIS mom! So, still no deal.

Also, Cid, I came to the same conclusion, too :P
