Re: 2009/06/01 Old time radio
Is it just me, or do a lot of radio stations in the 105-108 FM range eventually take on the moniker, "The Buzz?" I know of two radio stations, one in Kansas City and Columbia, both at 106.5 FM with the name, The Buzz.

Ouch. Horrible news to hear.
I grew up listening to KOWD, left for 4 years, and I'll be back in 6 days. And it dies. Timing man, timing.

Since someone created a thread on this already, I'm just going to attest to how horrible this new radio station really is.
I'm not saying KWOD was that great. At times it was, but then they'd dick around with format and it'd be back to mediocre. But this new station? Blood from your ears.

I actually like the new station. It plays stuff from my high school days, which makes me all sentimental and reminiscent. Good times.
