Garth Brooks, I don't know of anyone who hasn't heard a Garth song. Even if they don't like the music, they know of him.

And J.K. Rowling. With all the stink her books brought into this world, I don't know who hasn't heard of her or at least read some of her work.

My husband thinks it could possibly be Tom Cruise, Will Smith, Brad Pitt, or LeBron James. I would think George W. Bush. I think nearly everybody knows who he is.

Definitely going with Obama. When you have people in countries that can't even vote for him, cheering him on to win the presidency, you know the man is famous. Or for that matter, when Koreans write a comic about his life.
