More importantly, was that a lemon that walked behind them and kissed a muffin?
Re: 09-07-09 - Impulse Control

I had relatively the same problem... I had to resist 4 different sets of figures because one... I had other stuff to buy and two they cost a crap load of money >.< a 4 piece 5 in set for 60 a 10 piece 3 in set for 80 and the other two were random prices I can't remember... cons are too tempting... I spent around 350 at this one o.o nyah >.< (15 of which bought Greg'sNotes

I walked into Otakon with $2,000 in cash. Nope, not problems with spending too much money here, no sir, none at all.Frosting wrote:I had relatively the same problem... You are not crazy. Not when you go up against the hundreds and hundreds of dollars people spend on Longaberger baskets. I mean, at least you can play with those figurines...but the baskets? They just collect dust! 0.o
I really shouldn't talk. I collect Pullip dolls and I've spent at least...*counts*....$1700 on 20+ of them, that is NOT including all the clothes I've purchased for them, either. I know BJD dolls get insanely pricey too, which is why I've NEVER touched them. Too terrified of getting sucked in like so many others!

Not necessarily. My family used the larger Longaberger baskets as clothes hampers. And the rest of the money was spent on Longaberger pottery, which was actually used as well.darcerin wrote:You are not crazy. No... the lemon is an inside joke for the people who attended our first webcomics panel of the convention. If they were there and have a good memory... it's hilarious.
