yeah the cg was lacking the in neo vs smith fight i noticed that in trailer and when you have to sit there for like 10 MINS watching the same fight you start to notice it more,

it was cool but a bit to long

I have to admit I wasn't terribly crazy about this one... I still liked it and thought it was decent, but it didn't thrill me like I was expecting... I think one reason I loved the first one was because of this special effects... unfortunately those effects have now been overused in so many other movies that it's become boring...
"Okay... seen that already... yep, that's not new either ~yawn~"
The story line is still pretty good though, and it was fun... I will definately be seeing the next... but I"m not an enthused about it as I was...

Oh, and personally I thought the love/dance scene was way to long and not really needed... they could have found a MUCH more appropriate way to express the emotions they were trying to show in the movie...

Why the Matrix Reloaded is less good than the Matrix part 1:

Neo is too damn powerful. It's not fun to watch someone who is pretty much unbeatable anyway. He's not going to lose, we all know that, so every fight its just waiting until its over. And the smith fight was just a stalemate, which gets boring after a while too, unless you're totally into cool movies and sloppy CG animation.

But the parts about Morpheous and Trinity are good. They're exciting, because they can lose. They're not in win-mode on default. Hence why its exciting.
