Happy Nativity, y'all. Oh yeah, I'm original. Well, not really.

Yes, Ashton and I watched it last night (with Rifftrax, thank god), so everyone must share in our pain.

Okay, I have fancy cheese on crackers, wine, and Assassin's Creed 2 to finish beating. The lobster will be ready soonish. It is indeed a merry christmas. I sincerely hope you're all doing as well (but you're probably not, cause this is really, really good cheese.)

(Bet you didn't think Mav liked fancy cheese.)

It doesn't surprise me in the least. Only communists and homosexuals do not like fancy cheese. I plan to eat a lot of cheese today as I love both capitalism and pussy.

I got Assassin's Creed II yesterday and Lego Batman also. Trying to play them while a baby wants hugged and kissed etc is really difficult. There's only so many times I can push her out of my eyeline with my foot before she cries.

Also, lewt-wise, I got a new leather jacket, a terrific knit-cable sweater and a short-sleeved shirt from Ted Baker and my surprise nearly-favourite present: a hat, right?, but like a hat that's kind of like a batter's helmet with earflaps made from wool, or something. I dunno what that'd be called. Batter-helmet-earflap-wool-hat. Oh, and it has an NY on the side so I guess I now root for whatever baseball team is in New York. Go Nicks! Or something.

This year's loot:
  1. One of those heavy-duty Maglight flashlights that I can use as a bludgeon in case of emergencies.
  2. One of those "As Seen on TV" computer lap desks with an inlaid mouse pad and an LCD light that somehow requires batteries and does not run off of an USB port. (Maybe worth investigating.)
  3. One pound box of Whitman's Samplers.
  4. One fondue pot. What the hell am I going to do with a fondue pot?
  5. $40 Best Buy gift card, which would be a good down payment on either an iPhone or the Office 2010 I'm expecting to purchase for work.
  6. Cash. I'm not telling you how much, but it's enought to buy one stock share of Apple.
What I gave to others as loot:

My sister received the Bejeweled Twisted game, which means she doesn't have to have an internet connection to feed her addition now. My brother-in-law received a new wireless mouse. My mother received the America's Test Kitchen cookbook with all the recipies from that fine PBS cooking show. Now she won't have to badger me to find out if they have that recipie online. My brother got a iPhone car charger. And my niece received the Pirates Who Don't Do Anything DVD.

Happy Christmas and a Happy 2010!
