Aw, heck. My cat just loves me. And I love her back! Who needs a girlfriend when you have an awesome cat!

I'm not saying anything, but that comment could be taken the wrong way all too easily.Who needs a girlfriend when you have an awesome cat!

heh, a friend of mine had 4 cats, all are very very cool.
these cats are very unique, as they are for the lazy person. the first time i went to his house, i sat on this chair, and one cat jumped into my lap, another one came up and petted itself with my hand! i was alughing so hard. all you gotta do it leave your hand hanging over the side of a char/bench and the cat (neo is it's name) comes up and walks in circles, petting itself with your own hand every rotation. It's the lazy man's cat.

Loves cats, allergic to cat hair. Once lived with a roomie with a cat. Had to buy half a dozen 3M lint remover rolls. Ever tried one of those sticky rolls directly on a cat? Some actually seem to enjoy it.
Incidentally, it was a nameless cat. I, like the idiot, just called it CAT (as all cavemen would call cats)

My cats respond to their names distinctly, as they are very similar and sound. Kuro and Shiro - Kuro of course has a lot of white on him, and Shiro is a jet black kitty ^^ Tone has a lot to do with it though if you want them to come to you, but if you say their names they will twitch their tail or glance over at you. I also am taking care of 2 more kitties for a friend right now that don't respond to their names at all =P I don't blame them, they're wierd names - Wogs & Zanzuba. *scratches head* Hehe I dunno - anyhow I've got a question for you other cat people out there - Zanzuba since he's been at the new place has been having problems with throwing up >.< which has been 5 days now. The new kitties became adjusted very quickly to my girlfriend and I, and also quickly became used to the surroundings. There have not been any outright fights between our cats and the new ones, and the initial hissing at each other rarely happens at all now. The food the kitties had before was friskies, and we're giving them iams now. My cats never had any problems switching between different foods, but Zanz has me a bit worried. We're giving him until Monday before we see a vet, but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what might settle his stomach, and failing that, anything that gets kitty ralph out of the carpet easily. Resolve is doing a so/so job =P

Kuronekosama, something like that happened when we started taking care of charlie for my sister, out cat buffy, is old and set in her ways I guess, when charlie came, charlie would always act like he was fine, but he'd walk about the house and just sit down and throw up and go about his way, oreo took to charlie and plays with him now, and really likes him, buffy will step foot anywhere around him, she'll hiss at him, and he'll lay down at her feet, she'll hiss again and run off, he stoped throwing up now, and buffy doesn't hiss as much, she still hates him though.

Reup! She's Crazy!

I have the same problem with my cats. Our family cat, Frosty (named for the tip of her frosty tale), is about ten years old. When I got my cat, Ranma (named for the character from Ranma 1/2 [yes, I am the master of the obvious {yes, I use far too many parenthesis}]), Frosty had some serious problems with him.
Part of the problem was that Frosty was always a fighting cat and could win against most dogs. She also was used to being the only cat in the house. So when a kitten showed up, she got mad. Now Ranma is stronger than Frosty, but he still cowers in her presence (though on occasion he works up the courage to do a hit and run on Frosty).

I've only had one cat: Annie. She has to be the most talkative cat in the world. Not to mention the fastest purrer. When I wake up in the morning, I almost always find her on the foot of my bed, and when I reach over to start petting her she starts purring even before my hand reaches her. She's a great relaxation kitty.
